GA Fixings is thrilled to announce the receipt of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications from the Steel Construction Certification Scheme, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to environmental sustainability and occupational health and safety.
ISO 14001 is the international standard for Environmental Management Systems, designed to help organisations minimise their environmental impact. ISO 45001 is the first global standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, aimed at improving employee safety, reducing workplace risks, and creating better, safer working conditions.
Over the past year, GA Fixings has undergone rigorous audits and assessments conducted by the Steel Construction Certification Scheme. These evaluations covered various aspects of our operations, including the safe handling of materials, environmental impact reduction strategies, and comprehensive safety training programs for all employees.
The auditors were particularly impressed with our proactive approach to environmental management and our robust safety protocols. They noted our efforts in reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, and ensuring that all staff members are actively involved in safety and environmental initiatives.
