| GA Fixings SW Channel and Ties |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The SW channel & tie system is used to restrain masonry back to steel studwork. The SW channel is fixed back to the studwork using self drilling/tapping screws at 225mm centres. The screws have a under head high thread which offers maximum support to the channel whilst preventing compression of the insulation material. The SW ties are then used to tie across the cavity into the masonry bed joint, the ties can be placed at any point along the length of the channel allowing full restraint to be maintained. Please contact GA Fixings for specific advice on the type of fixing screws required for each application. SW channel - 25/14 section
