GAHR/1 Head Restraint

The GAHR/1 head restraint is designed to restrain the top of the inner leaf of cavity walls. The GAHR/1 allows vertical movement between the inner leaf and the structure by using a rectangular sleeve which sits in the vertical joint and a top section bolted to the soffit which may slide within the sleeve.

The GAHR/1 is capable of restraining a lateral load of 1.5kN and is available with a variety of head options ie, slotted, holed or to suit cast-in channel. The standard GAHR/1 is supplied to suit standard block but specials can be made to suit site requirements.

GAHR/2 Head Restraint

The GAHR/2 head restraint is designed to restrain the top of the inner leaf of cavity walls. The restraint consists of two angles fixed using a single M8 bolt which effectively clamp the top of the wall.

The fixing can be supplied to suit the full range of block thicknesses and are capable of restraining a 0.75kN load.
